Falken

Falken Tires is a Japanese tire company, established in 1983. Falken was initially a high-performance tire manufacturer doing business under the name Ohtsu Tire and Rubber. Launched in its native Japan, the company presented itself to the North American market two years after its creation. The West Coast headquarters and distribution center, Falken Tire Corporation, is based in California for operations in North America. In 1998, the brand made its first appearance in Europe.

All Falken tires fall into the “sporty” category and enjoy a positive image thanks to the company’s involvement in motorsport. Indeed, Falken sponsors automobile racing events such as the ALMS (American Le Mans Series) as well as national competitions such as the Super Taikyu series, the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, Formula D and the D1 Grand Prix. Falken was also the official sponsor of the British Drift Championship until 2010.

The firm that was chosen as original equipment supplier for brands such as Subaru, Suzuki and Daihatsu knows one thing: “building a good tire is above all a question of know-how and will. »
