The Italian company Momo was founded in 1964 by racing driver Moretti Gianpiero. That year, Moretti created a special steering wheel for his own racing car. The other drivers quickly asked Moretti to make them a steering wheel. Originally, Momo Italy’s production was intended solely for the motor racing sector, but in the 1970s the company broadened its horizons by developing a multitude of products. This is where lightweight alloy wheels and sports steering wheels appeared for standard cars. Standing out for the quality of its products, several prestigious automobile manufacturers such as Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Porsche, Saad, Volvo, and many others, decide to use Momo design products to equip their production vehicles. . In 1993, Momo launched its Momo Corse division, and offered fire-resistant clothing for drivers and racing team members.
