Toyo

The Toyo Tire & Rubber Co, Ltd. is a Japanese tire manufacturing company, founded on August 1, 1945 by Mr. Rikimatsu Tomihisa. It first did business in Japan before establishing itself in Canada in 1982. At that time, the company only stored and redistributed tires for trucks, commercial vans and passenger cars. Since that time, it has evolved and by the end of the 1980s, Toyo Tires was manufacturing its first tires in North America.

Since their creation, Toyo tires have been a symbol of performance, innovation, quality and service excellence. In the 1980s, they were mainly used for automobile competitions. Drivers using these tires have won numerous awards. Toyo tires are now recognized by drivers, amateurs and professionals, as being efficient.

The company’s head office is now in British Columbia and production continues to increase.
